Quarry Bank Guided Nature Walk

Join us for a guided walk along the River Bollin at Quarry Bank, Styal

The River Bollin sits at the heart of Quarry Bank, turning the wheel of the mill that played an integral part in the Manchester Industrial Revolution. To improve riverland habitat here we are restoring 11 ponds, creating one new pond, improving 1,300m of the Bollin and restoring around 1,400m of tributaries to the watercourse.

Join us on the day of our Quarry Bank Bioblitz for a guided nature walk led by Dave Winnard of Discover the Wild! We will be exploring Quarry Bank to seek out and learn about the flora and fauna of the park as part of our Bioblitz event.

This event will run for approximately 2 hours from 11:00am - 1:00pm.
