Our Urban Riverfly online training session will build skills in riverfly monitoring, identification, data collection, and urban water quality.
Urban Riverfly is a citizen science initiative that trains volunteers to monitor river health using riverfly populations as indicators of water quality, with a focus on urban waterways and pollution detection. Mersey Rivers Trust will deliver an online presentation to upskill trained River Guardians, enabling them to carry out Urban Riverfly monitoring. Mersey Rivers Trust will send an email to participants before the session begins.
