Bollin Pollution Education

This education campaign aims to reduce the risk of future pollution events from Lyme Green industrial estate thereby preventing serious impacts to fish and other aquatic ecology in the River Bollin.

We’ve been collaborating with Friends of the River Bollin to monitor pollution incidents along the river. A live camera—located at the Old Mill Lane Weir in Macclesfield and updating every minute—is available on the website, providing real-time views of the River Bollin.
